Tintwistle Band
Tintwistle is a small village in the North West of Derbyshire, close to Glossop. The village has been the home of Tintwistle Band for around 120 years. Tintwistle Band is successful and currently enjoys First Section status. The band is not sponsored and relies entirely on its members efforts. The Tintwistle Bandroom is situated on Old Road in the village. The bandroom was purchased and completely rebuilt after a long fund raising project. The project was completed in 1998 and secured the bands future for many years to come.
